This website sets performance cookies. These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how a website works.

PRIVACY POLICY

The European General Data Proctection Regulation (GDPR) requires retailers to explain what we do with the personal information you provide to us when placing an order.

Information we collect and how we store it

To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information, if you contact us directly.

All electronic personal information is stored on a removable hard drive which is password protected.

We only keep limited information about each order and this is soley for the use of tax returns which we need to keep for 7 years.  All files are kept in a secure location our address. 

Any personal information you provide to us is held on our website which is secured with a password on a private laptop.  Only the business manager has access to this.

Any photographs sent to use for use on bouquet charms etc are deleted once an order has been shipped.  We do not keep a copy of your photographs.

Your address is printed onto a label and used to post your item to you, no other personal information is used, unless there is a query with your order and we need to email you to confirm details.

No print outs of your personal details are kept by us, it is all held on our online selling platforms, Create, Stripe and Paypal, all of whom have their own Privacy Policies.

We will not share any of your contact information with any third party apart from when necessary i.e. courier companies.  We share information with Create, Ebay, Amazon and Etsy as necessary to provide you our services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.  (only applicable if you purchase from us via Etsy)

Why we need your information and how we use it

We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
• as needed to provide our services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time.
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
• as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving our services. We use your information to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services;
• Compliance with the selling platform you have purchased through if applicable.  We use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the platform’s Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

We will only send you any marketing emails or mail if you subscribed or agreed to our newletter.

No payment/debit/credit card details are shared or disclosed to us and the checkout process is completed wholly online at Paypal.com and Stripe.  Both these companies have their own Privacy Polices and can be found on their websites.

You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.

You may also have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where we are required to store data for legal reasons) we will generally delete your personal information upon request.

If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

Compliance with laws we may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.

The length of time we keep personal information
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements.  We generally keep your data for the following time period: 7 years.

We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, we rely on the Privacy Shield for the host as the legal basis for the transfer

In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
